Werth earns Levitow award at Airman Leadership School

VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Five Team Vance Airmen, members of Class 09-G, graduated Aug. 28 from the Airman Leadership School at Altus AFB, Okla.

Senior Airman John Werth with the 71st Operations Support Squadron, received the John L. Levitow award, presented to the top graduate from the ALS.

The award is named after the late John Levitow, a Medal of Honor recipient during the Vietnam War.

Also graduating were: Senior Airmen Brock D. Evans, 71st Logistics Readiness Squadron; Arnold Munguia, 71st Medical Group; Sean R. Patterson, 71st Security Forces Squadron; and James W. Porter, 71st SFS.
