Warrior of the Week - Christopher Fellows Published Aug. 19, 2009 VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Name: Christopher Fellows Duty: Office automation clerk (summer hire) with the 71st Logistics Readiness Squadron Hometown: St. Petersburg, Fla. Favorite PT regimen: Elliptical trainer Mission contributions: Mr. Fellows built a Logistics Readiness Squadron deficiency tracker, both electronic and hard copy, that consolidated in one location the write-ups, answers and status of the unit's major and minor deficiencies from recent inspections. He has been the glue of the squadron's front office during the absence of both the operations officer and secretary. With great professionalism and skill, he took up the responsibilities and duties of his immediate supervisor during her emergency leave. Without Mr. Fellows' efforts, the day-to-day operations of the squadron would have been greatly diminished. His service to the squadron included more than just job oriented tasks. He created a template for the 71st LRS Safe Ride program which provides Airmen and civilians assigned to the squadron a convenient list of phone numbers to call for a ride in case they consume too much alcohol.
