Senior Airman Bethanicole Lawton is the Wing Airman of the Month for May. From Jacksonville, Fla., she is an assignments journeyman with the Military Personnel Flight, 71st Force Support Squadron. Vance is Airman Lawton’s first assignment in her two-year Air Force career. Airman Lawton was selected Airman of the Month after meeting a board comprised of an NCO, a senior NCO, and last month’s Airman of the Month. She answered questions about the military and current events and was scored on her responses, dress and appearance, communication skills and professionalism. Airman Lawton will receive a personal visit from the wing commander and the command chief, a one-day pass, a certificate of recognition, a one-night stay in a distinguished visitor suite at lodging and coupons from Services and AAFES.
