The Appropriated Fund Summer Hire Program is accepting applications for support clerks now through May 4.

These are temporary positions starting June 8 and ending Sept. 30. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age at the time of the appointment, and must be attending high school, technical school or college. The Civilian Personnel Office here also requires a letter from the school where enrolled verifying enrollment status.

Non-U.S. citizens may apply for temporary student appointments provided they were lawfully admitted to the United States as a permanent resident (must show documentation) and meet all other qualifications.

A handout is available to guide applicants in resumé preparation, format and documents to submit when applying. The announcement and the handout are accessible through area high schools, local colleges, the Oklahoma Workforce Commission, the Vance Airman and Family Readiness Center and the Civilian Personnel Office in Bldg. 500, Room 124.

Resumés must be prepared using the format provided with the announcement; only those resumés will be accepted. Properly prepared resumés with supporting documentation must be received by 4 p.m. May 4 or postmarked by midnight of that date. The mailing address is:
