Base closed by inclement weather Saturday Published March 28, 2009 VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Due to inclement weather, Vance AFB is closed today. All base events have been cancelled, including the Officer Spouses Club Wild Wild West Auction and Parent's Night Out. If you are scheduled for duty, contact your immediate supervisor to determine appropriate action. The Bowling Center is open and serving food. A decision will be made later this afternoon to determine the status of other base services including the Fitness Center, Teen center and Autoskills center.
