Vance's Sexual Assault Prevention and Response program and the Airman & Family Readiness Center have teamed up to present "Protecting your kids from Internet predators," at 11:30 a.m., Friday, April 3, in the A&FRC classroom.

In order to help parents protect their children, Lt. Bryan Skaggs from the Enid Police Department will give tips to educate parents on what to watch for on the social networking sites.

"We've all seen or heard about the television show Dateline's series on Internet predators," said Jennifer McMullen, Vance's Health and Wellness Center's Health Education program manager.

"We would like to believe that when our children are home, they are safe under our roof," she said. "But the Internet has afforded those who would do our children harm another avenue to connect with them."

Pizza and sodas will be provided during the presentation. For more information and to reserve a seat, call 213-5598 or 213-5597.
