Biggest Losers shed more than 400 pounds at second weigh in

Participants in Vance's Biggest Loser weight-loss competition dropped 405 pounds at the second weigh-in March 6, bringing their total weight loss to 1,410.7 pounds, or almost 3 percent of their total starting weight.

Through April 10, teams of four are competing to lose the most weight. Team members will be weighed in once a month. Helping teams along, the Health and Wellness Center is offering fitness and nutrition classes each month of the competition. This is the second year for the competition at Vance.
