Team Vance relaxes after months of hard work

VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- After months of hard work preparing for the Air Education and Training Command Unit Compliance Inspection, Team Vance set aside several hours to relax and play at the "It's a Wrap! Bash," held in Hangar 170 Monday afternoon.

More than 1,000 Vance Airmen and family members feasted on barbecue, hot dogs, cookies and a variety of beverages from 3 to 6 p.m. The food was served up by Vance senior military leaders.

"Poverty's Children," a local band, provided music while the younger family members enjoyed inflatable play areas.

The bash was hosted by Vance's commanders and the 71st Force Support Squadron's Services Division.

Base volunteers spent several hours Monday setting up the hangar and cleaning up afterwards.
