Just as the base Chapel offers couples of various denominations many options for wedding ceremonies, the Vance Collocated Club offers couples custom-designed wedding receptions for up to 250 people.

The Vance Collocated Club hosts an average of 25 wedding receptions each year, the highest number of all base clubs in the Air Education and Training Command, according the club's assistant manager, James Adams.

"We offer a professional and affordable facility. Colored linens, flatware, a sound system, a microphone and a projector are all included. Planning can span a week or a month based on how elaborate you want to be," Mr. Adams said. "We can book a year in advance."

The menu, décor, dance floor and walls can all be adjusted to match the desires of newlywed base ID card holders. From a recently expanded menu, couples can choose from hors d'oeuvres arrangements to a buffet to sit-down dinners. The club has a full bar and mobile wall partitions to custom fit the party size and activities.

"Our club works hard to accommodate the requests of new couples. We want to provide them with an unforgettable experience that is also affordable and convenient," said Maj. Wistaria Joseph, 71st Mission Support Squadron commander. "We've had couples from outside the area hold receptions at this club; some come as far away as Tulsa."

Mr. Adams explained that reception guests do not need base identification to drive on base to the club, just a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance.
