Vance makes race an adventure

VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --  

Overcast skies and cool weather didn't prevent 14 teams from participating in Vance Air Force Base's first Adventure Race Saturday. Six extreme teams and eight relay teams vied for top honors in the run, raft and bike competition. The difference in the two groupings was the requirement for all four members of each extreme team to complete all three legs of the race together.
