71st SFS changes command

Capt. Christopher Jackson assumed command of the 71st Security Forces Squadron from Maj. Thomas McGuillicuddy in a change-of-command ceremony Nov. 10 at the Vance Collocated Club.

Jackson joined Team Vance after a tour as the deputy chief, Contingency and Future Operations, United States Air Forces Europe, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.

Jackson commissioned in 2005 and holds a Master of Arts in criminal justice from American Military University, Manassas, Virginia.

His highest decorations include a Bronze Star and a meritorious service medal with one oak leaf cluster.

McGuillicuddy relinquished command of the 71st SFS after five months due to force shaping. He and his family are moving to Texas.
