New T-38 static at Vance Airpark Published Nov. 10, 2014 By Staff Sgt Nancy Falcon 71st Flying Training Wing Public Affairs VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- -- Members of the aircraft maintenance section, help move a T-38 Talon Nov. 1 out of the Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma west gate and transport it to the main gate to be displayed as a static. This T-38 came to Vance from Warner Robins, AFB, Georgia where it was used as an indoor display. Members from the Enid community donated funds to bring the plane to Vance. The T-38 will be repainted with a 1990s paint scheme in the near future.
