Annual golf tourney raises $650 for CFC Published Oct. 22, 2014 By Vance CFC committee VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Team Vance's Annual Combined Federal Campaign Golf Tournament raised more than $650 toward the base's goal of $97,675.41. Col. Clark Quinn, Capt. Mike Knaeble, 1st Lt. Sam Schmidt and 1st Lt. Nathan Gray won the tournament which, was held at Meadowlake Golf Course, Enid, Oklahoma. Forty golfers vied for the top prize, a gift certificate to the Meadowlake Pro Shop. The CFC is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign. The 2014 drive started in September and runs until Nov. 7. It consists of nearly 200 campaigns worldwide and raises millions of dollars each year. The pledges made are sent to various non-profit organizations throughout the world. Donors can either chose specific charities, or ask that their donation be spread to all charities within the CFC, an estimated 20,000 nonprofit organizations worldwide.
