CFC kicks off with a breakfast Published Oct. 3, 2014 71st Flying Training Wing Public Affairs VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Members of Team Vance gathered at the Community Chapel Activities Center for the Combined Federal Campaign kick-off breakfast Sept. 30. This year, CFC started Sept. 29 and will run until Nov. 7. The CFC is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign. It consists of nearly 200 CFC campaigns world-wide raising millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits to those in need throughout the world. The CFC today is known to be the most inclusive workplace giving campaign in the world with the number of participating charities estimated at over 20,000 nonprofit organizations worldwide.
