Team Vance celebrates women's equality

VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Three women who work at Vance shared their stories and points of view during a women's equality luncheon Aug. 26 at the Vance Collocated Club.

Chief Master Sgt. Melvina Smith, the 71st Mission Support Group superintendent; Felicia Stilley, the Force Development Flight chief; and Melody Shiflet, a Force Development Flight education counselor, were the featured speakers.

Women's Equality Day is a day proclaimed each year by the President to commemorate the women's suffrage.
