SIGMO features Italian dinner Published July 30, 2014 71st Flying Training Wing Public Affairs VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Fourteen volunteers from the Wing Staff Agencies prepared and served an Italian meal to 116 Team Vance members during the July Singles' International Gourmet Meal Opportunity in the Community Chapel Activities Center July 28. 2nd Lts. Jessica Franklin and Michael McColister organized the event. The Italian Heritage menu included pasta pinwheels, green beans, coleslaw, garlic-herbed bread, assorted desserts, tea and lemonade. Leftovers from the SIGMO feast were taken to Our Daily Bread community shelter in Enid where more than 45 homeless were fed. SIGMO is a monthly free, home-cooked meal for single Airmen, single parents, unaccompanied Airmen of all ranks and the families of deployed members.
