Approximately 400 Team Vance members participated in the 5th Annual Sexual Assault Prevention Response Awareness run April 18.

The three-mile run is designed to give people time to reflect on the impact sexual assault has on the Air Force and how Airmen can work toward future prevention, said Tena Dominguez, the 71st Flying Training Wing sexual assault victim advocate.

"Since April is sexual assault awareness month, we put together events to spread awareness and how our Airmen can help with preventing these crimes," said Dominguez. "We have to think about the victims and the impact it has on them, their families, their friends and their co-workers."
