Rob Buzan, is a T-1 instructor in the 3rd Flight Training Squadron. Tell us about your family: It's just us, the two dogs and my 20-year-old cat. What is your professional background? My undergraduate degree is from the University of Illinois in communications and I have a master's degree in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University. Do you work? I have been really lucky with my career. I work in advertising for AT&T, and they have allowed me to bring my job wherever Rob is stationed. Since my work group is spread around the country, it hasn't mattered where I am located. Most of my days are spent in front of a computer reviewing creative concepts and talking to the advertising agencies that I work with. If you stop by my house in the middle of the day, there is a pretty high chance I will be sporting yoga pants and talking on a conference call -- crossing my fingers that the dogs don't bark. Do you have any hobbies? We do a lot of entertaining, so I spend quite a bit of time in the kitchen cooking and baking. My advertising teams started a tradition a couple of years ago of flying into Oklahoma City and driving up to Enid for a holiday party at my house. So prepping for those two parties is my current project! What's your favorite thing about Enid? As someone from a big city, I actually really like the closeness of a smaller community. I love that I can quickly run to a friend's to let their dog out, or drop by a neighbor's house to borrow a random ingredient that I forgot at the store. Do you have any advice for other spouses? Don't get hung up on location. The best parts of the military experience are more about the people you are with than the base you are at.
