CFC golf tournament raises $726 for base charity Published Oct. 23, 2013 VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The 2013 Combined Federal Campaign golf tournament, held Oct. 19 at Meadowlake Golf Course, raised $726. The money will be a designated donation to the Friends of Vance Families Fund, one of more than 20,000 charities people can support through the CFC. The tournament, a four-person scramble, kicked off at 9 a.m., with 10 teams competing for a variety of prizes. The first place team included 1st Lt. Nathan Gray, Capt. Mike Knaeble, 1st Lt. Scott Addy and Capt. Craig Christ. The tournament was organized by Capt. Josh Tobitt with the 33rd Flying Training Squadron. This year's CFC at Vance has collected $49,891 in donations so far. More than 84 percent of those eligible to contribute have been contacted. The campaign is scheduled to run through Nov. 8.
