Combined Federal Campaign kicks off with free breakfast

VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --  The Vance Combined Federal Campaign committee will host the CFC Kickoff Breakfast at 7 a.m., Oct. 3, in the Community Chapel Activity Center.

The breakfast marks the beginning of Vance Air Force Base's largest charity drive which will run from Sept. 30 through Nov. 8.

All 71st FTW active duty, reserve and government employees are invited for a free breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes. Serving will continue until 9 a.m., or when the food runs out.

CFC is the world's largest employee campaign, with almost 200 CFC campaigns throughout the country and overseas raising millions of dollars each year.

Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season - Sept. 1 to Dec. 15 -- support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits around the world.

The CFC today is the most inclusive campaign, with more than 20,000 nonprofit organizations participating worldwide.
