2013 Air Force Ball is approaching fast Published Aug. 28, 2013 By Senior Airman Frank Casciotta 71st Flying Training Wing Public Affairs VANCE AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Team Vance is celebrating the Air Force's 66th birthday Sept. 21 with an Air Force Ball at the Enid Convention Hall. "We are having a formal ball this year to celebrate and embrace Air Force heritage and traditions," said 2nd Lt. James Brock, the coordinator for the Air Force Ball this year. "We will have live music and a local acting troupe to perform Air Force songs and skits centered on Air Force history. People are going to have a great time." The ball is scheduled to run 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 apiece for military members and their guests. Attendees will have a choice of chimichurri beef tips, marinated chicken or vegetarian lasagna. Dress is formal or semi-formal.
