Air Force selects 21 Vance Airmen for promotion to E-5

Twenty-one Team Vance Airmen were selected for promotion to staff sergeant.

They are among the 11,212 senior airmen selected for promotion this cycle, according to officials at the Air Force Personnel Center, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas.

The new staff sergeant selectees at Vance are:

  • Joseph Dalen, 71st Communications Squadron
  • Nicholas Galbraith, 71st Security Forces Squadron
  • Justin Hains, 71st SFS
  • Casey Hamm, 71st SFS
  • Christopher Hinojosa, 71st OSS
  • Scott Hoover, 71st Logistics Readiness Squadron
  • Ryan Jensen, 71st SFS
  • Johnathan Leddy, 33rd Flying Training Squadron
  • Matthew London, 71st OSS
  • Ashley McGill, 71st OSS
  • Cody O'Connell, 71st OSS

The 11,212 selected Air Force wide represent 32.90 percent of the 34,078 eligible.

The average score for those selected was 291.07. Selectees' average time in grade is 1.98 years and time in service is 4.51. The average enlisted performance report score is 131.84, and 0.98 is the average decorations score. Selectee average promotion fitness examination score is 64.77 and the average specialty knowledge test score is 63.48.
