Welcome back to Oklahoma

Capt. Randall Schmedhorst, instructor pilot with the 3rd Fighter Training Squadron, changed station from Hill Air Force Base, Utah. to Vance AFB, Okla. in February, making a trip he planned to visit family and run the eighth annual Oklahoma City Memorial Half Marathon much shorter. Six thirty a.m., Apr. 27, Captain Schmedhorst, wearing garbage bags atop his running gear against heavy rain and wind, was running under a seven minute mile with wet shoes.
