Santa ad

The tradition of the North American Aerospace Defense Command tracking Santa Claus’ Christmas Eve flight began in 1955 after a Colorado Springs-based Sears Roebuck & Co. advertisement for children to call Santa printed the telephone number for the “hotline” at NORAD’s predecessor, the Continental Air Defense Command.
