Folks pack up comfort bears to Navy ship
Kim Winfield, left, helps Nicholas Trembly pack up more than 350 comfort bears for shipment to a Navy ship where a former Vance student pilot is currently assigned. The small cloth bears are made by the children in the School Age Program on base for deployed military members to remind them of home. Mrs. Winfield is the SAP director. Nicholas is the son of Staff Sgt. Danielle Snider, NCO in charge of Readiness and Emergency Management with the 71st Logistics Readiness Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Joe B. Wiles)
