Flu shot fix
Capt. Dianne Stroble, 71 Medical Operations Squadron, prepares a syringe as Staff Sgt. Jemarlon Waller, 71st Medical Group, administers a vaccination to Tech. Sgt. Davis of 71st Flying Training Wing Public Affairs. Flu shots are required for all active-duty military personnel and are also administered, based on availability of supply, to patients deemed by their physicians to be at a higher risk of contracting influenza viruses, followed by active-duty dependents, civilian employees and government contractors. The high risk category also includes infants and those over age 65. In the last two weeks of October, the 71st Medical Group administered over 1,000 vaccinations. (U.S. Air Force photo by 2nd Lt.
