January Safety Challenge

Navy LT Jeff Vignery, (at podium and inset), Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas, describes the EP-3E, the type of aircraft he was co-piloting when it made an emergency landing on China’s Hainan Island. The landing followed a mid-air collision with a Chinese fighter aircraft on April 1, 2001.
