Four F-15 Cs land at Vance AFB

Four F-15 Cs diverted to Vance Air Force Base from Sheppard AFB, Texas, Jan. 15. Inclement weather interfered with the squadron’s plan to provide Euro-NATO student pilots with an F-15 C orientation brief. Sheppard AFB was one stop along a trip planned from Tyndall AFB, Fla., home of the 95th FS, and infamous squadron mascot “Mr. Bones,” to Hill AFB, Utah. The four F-15 Cs refueled at Vance AFB.
