Plows driven by Vance AFB contract partners had cleared much of the snow from the 71st Flying Training Wing headquarters parking lot by Wednesday morning. Between 5 and 6 inches of snow fell at Vance during a winter storm Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. Winds hit a high speed of 49 mph, with average speeds of 20 to 30 mph.
